​Melise de Lima Pereira is a Doctor in Tourism and Hospitality at the University of The Vale do Itajaí, Brazil, with an internship at the Doctorate in Business and Socioeconomic Sciences at the MODUL University Vienna - MU, Vienna, Austria. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR, Brazil). She is the head coordinator of the Post-Graduate Program in Tourism at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR, Brazil). Melise carries out quantitative research applied to tourism, events, and hospitality.
