Dr Mingguang Liu

Dr Mingguang Liu has a Ph.D. in International Politics.  He is the director of the Department of Event Communication in the School of Culture and Tourism at Zhejiang International Studies University, and also the Vice Dean of Institute of Culture and Tourism Industry of Chinese and Foreign Humanities Exchange Centre of the Ministry of Education of China.

He is the initiator of the China Zhejiang International Event Planning Creativity Competition, as well as the co-initiator of the International Association for Events Studies and serves as the Vice President of Zhejiang International Event Association. His main research areas are in major power strategy, international event comparison and digital events.
